Dnest Aviation Services Sdn Bhd. was formed in the early 70's in Malacca. It was primarily involved in aerial photography in the Malacca Straits doing work for Lloyd Insurers on Vessels that ply the Malacca Straits.

The present owners later acquired it in 1990 and since then it has involved in a wide area of operations in the aviation field. Presently Airfoto is the distributor for API Spares of USA, Piper Aircraft of USA as its distributor and service center for this in-region. We specialize in-corporate aircraft operations and maintenance. We presently maintain Hawker 800XP, Citation Bravo, Lear 45, Gulfstream IV, Falcon 900B, Bell 407, Daulphin 365N Piper Seneca IV/V and Skyvan.

We have moved into our new hangar in Subang Airport that can house a Boeing 737. The hangar has enough rooms to cater for clients that house their aircraft with us. Our FBD is commenently incater in Subang International Airport (SAAS Airport).

Therefore we should develop this Airport into a Corporate Aircraft Hub for the region. We hope other aviation companies will join us help to achieve this mission.

Therefore, we have to start the training programme today in order to face the challenges of tomorrow. In this respect, we are planning to offer on the job training for school leavers. We hope to make them aware of the potential and expose them to aviation maintenance. After a short in the facilities we hope to put them through a formal training programme that is acceptable to the Malaysian DCA. Through this vocation training we hope to get more personnel into aviation maintenance, thus promoting and achieving our goal of becoming a regional hub for corporate aviation.
